Hips-Etc. is a Middle Eastern Dance company, owned and operated by Basané Cadiene. 

MISSION STATEMENT:   Hips-Etc. brings the cultural richness of Middle Eastern Dance to our community through quality instruction and joyful, vibrant performance.  Providing a supportive learning environment for students, and a creative outlet for performers, Hips-Etc. encourages dancers to challenge themselves physically, emotionally, and artistically; supports actively sharing the joy of Middle Eastern Dance with others; and promotes developing individual expression through the art of dance.  Hips-Etc. strives to enlighten the masses on the splendor of this ancient art form, while working to reverse the damaging stereotypes which tarnish the glory of this dance.
