CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION: classes can be taught either in-studio or at the client’s facility. Initially Hips-Etc. brings class instruction to the client and customizes the instruction to the client’s needs and values. Hips-Etc.’s small size and personalized service allows us to provide a wide range of instructional focus, including but not limited to, traditional M.E.D. training, M.E.D. as aerobic fitness, M.E.D. as a low-impact strength and flexibility training for seniors, M.E.D. as part of a company wellness program, etc. The versatility of Middle Eastern Dance (M.E.D.) lends itself to a wide range of adaptations. DEMONSTRATIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS: SENIOR PROGRAMS: Middle Eastern Dance offers a unique approach to low-impact exercise that is easy for most people to participate in. This form of exercise regimen is becoming quite popular in the Senior Community. Because we can provide classes during the day, at the client’s facility, Hips-Etc. can serve many senior clients that may otherwise not be reached by traditional fitness programs.
